The objective of this bi-directional system of transmission by infrared rays, designed for the railway industry, is to reduce the operation time and to avoid that train-driver leaves the train in order to carry out the manoeuvres of coupling / uncoupling, enabling the remote transmission of the following orders between trains:
• The opening/closing of the coupling hatches between two trains.
• Opening of the own hatch and/or the one of the other train.
• Automatic temporized closing.
• Water pressure cleaning of the outside glass.
• Allows coupling only at coupling speed.
The system includes:
• Emitting-receiving equipment, fixed on the front and rear sides of the train.
• A complete software-hardware of control, to execute all the necessary functions in any of the possible circumstances.
• A compressed air reserve that allows making the manoeuvre in trains that, after being a long time stopped and/or have no power connection, do not reach the necessary air pressure.
